Men

The Bethel Men meet on the first
Saturday of most months.

Check our Events menu for breakfast at 8:00 am. We enjoy humorous video clips, great food, table conversation, music, and a devotional time.

Our Men have participated in Promise Keepers, Men’s Fraternity, and Authentic Manhood’s 33 The Series™. (Authentic Manhood is a movement that leads men to live the life of truth, passion and purpose, that they were created to live.) We strive to equip men to be leaders in their homes, models in their workplace and dedicated followers of Jesus in their church.

Women

Our desire is to encourage women to grow their relationship in the lord.

To serve Him with Christian sisters, to minister to the Bethel family and the community with love and grace.

Bethel’s women are active in fellowship through Secret Sister programs, game nights, movie nights, lunch bunch, Bunco nights, and other numerous outings. We have a spring One Day Retreat at our Bethel campus and an annual fall Weekend Retreat held at Camp Cazadero.

On Friday morning’s,  a Women’s Bible Study is held on a study of the group’s choosing.

At Dinah Horner’s Home. (Call office for details)

Patty Lim

Women's Ministry Leader

Patty Lim has been a member of Bethel Baptist Church since 2013 and the team leader for Women’s Ministry since late 2022. One of the reasons Patty started coming to Bethel was for the vibrant Women’s Ministry. Her mother, Bobbi, moved from Sacramento to Concord in 2013 and Patty wanted her to feel excited about coming to church. The Bethel ladies welcomed Bobbi immediately and good friends were made. This opened a doorway for Bobbi’s later salvation.

Dinah Horner was the team leader at the time, but in 2022 she had to resign. Patty had been working with children for many years and was excited to do something new in a different ministry. Patty feels being a ministry leader is both challenging and rewarding as she tries to keep God at the center of it all.
